SHIPPING POLICY – LOR DIRECT

At LOR Direct, we strive to process and ship your orders as quickly and efficiently as possible. This Shipping Policy outlines how orders are processed, fulfilled, and delivered when you purchase through our website.
By placing an order with LOR Direct, you agree to the terms outlined in this Shipping Policy.
ORDER PROCESSING TIME
All orders are processed within 1–3 business days, excluding weekends and holidays.
Processing time includes order verification, payment authorization, quality checks, and packaging.
If we experience a high volume of orders, processing may be delayed. In the event of a significant delay, we will notify you via the email provided at checkout.
SHIPPING METHODS & DELIVERY TIME
We offer standard shipping options through major carriers such as UPS, and FedEx (depending on location and order type).
Estimated delivery times after shipment:
- Standard Shipping (U.S.): 3–7 business days
- Expedited Shipping (if available): 2–3 business days
- Carrier delays: Not included in estimates
Delivery timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
AT-HOME TESTING KITS
Certain LOR Direct products include at-home specimen collection kits intended for laboratory processing.
For these items:
- Kits are shipped with protective packaging to maintain integrity during transit
- Instructions must be followed carefully for proper specimen return
- Return shipping materials (if included) must be used as directed
- Customers are responsible for ensuring timely return shipment of specimens
We are not responsible for delays or compromised specimens due to improper handling, incorrect storage, or delayed return by the customer.
SHIPPING RATES
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and vary based on:
- Order weight and size
- Delivery destination
- Selected shipping method
Occasionally, we may offer promotional free shipping offers, which will be clearly displayed at checkout or in promotional materials.
ORDER TRACKING
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.
Tracking updates are managed directly by the carrier and may take up to 24–48 hours to become active.
INCORRECT SHIPPING INFORMATION
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all shipping information is accurate at checkout.
LOR Direct is not responsible for:
- Delays caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses
- Orders delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer
- Additional shipping fees required to reship returned packages
If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, the customer may be responsible for reshipping costs.
LOST, STOLEN, OR DELAYED PACKAGES
Once an order has been marked as delivered by the carrier, LOR Direct is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.
If your tracking information shows delivered but you have not received your package, please:
- Check with household members or neighbors
- Contact the shipping carrier directly
- Wait 24–48 hours, as packages are sometimes marked delivered early
If the issue is not resolved, please contact us at direct@lordiagnostics.com and we will assist where possible.
INCLEMENT WEATHER & CARRIER DELAYS
LOR Direct is not responsible for shipping delays caused by:
- Weather events
- Natural disasters
- Carrier disruptions
- Customs or regulatory inspections
- High seasonal demand periods
Delivery estimates may be impacted during such events.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
At this time, LOR Direct primarily ships within the United States. If international shipping is offered in the future, additional customs fees, duties, and import taxes may apply and are the responsibility of the customer.
DAMAGED PACKAGES
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:
- Order number
- Photos of the damaged packaging and product
- Description of the issue
We will review the claim and determine if a replacement or resolution is appropriate.
